Project 62 New Album
In December 2009 - Project 62 completed their independent eleven track debut album titled 'Our Own War'.
Project 62 are pleased to announce that the album launch for 'Our Own War' will be held at the Irish Club (Russell St., Toowoomba) on Saturday the 30th January 2010.
The journey continues...
Project 62 was created by the coming together of Jason Lawler, Mark Chalmers, Josh Meppem, Peter Woods, Adam Henry and Jonathan Willis.
All members have strong musical backgrounds and treat 'Project 62' as an idea to explore each individual's journey of life.
This is further expanded upon by the desire of all members to aid in this realisation for every other member. Be it political, imaginative, selfish or selfless, all avenues of interest and necessity are explored.
Our music is driven by a friendship that aims to discover the often overlooked traits of lives contained by societal views and expectations.

Our journey has enabled us to play venues in Brisbane, Toowoomba and surrounding districts and our live shows are filled with the energy that we all feel when writing together.
We choose to create a picture that hopefully means something to a wider audience than merely ourselves.
However, the fulfillment of expanding on the idea is measure enough for us to continue this staunch foray into the unknown. We hope inspiration can perhaps be found in that which inspires us.
This year Project 62 has become increasingly well-known at venues and events throughout South East Queensland. Some of Project 62' s played-at venues include the Norville, Irish Club, Queens Park, Empire Church, The Powerhouse in Toowoomba and Rosies, Kitty O'Sheas, Bar 388 and the Stepp Inn in Brisbane.
We have been involved in supporting community events such as Earth Hour and the Cancer Fund Marathon at Dalby Showgrounds.
