About Project 62
Project 62 was created by the coming together of Jason Lawler, Mark Chalmers, Josh Meppem, Peter Woods, Adam Henry and Jonathan Willis.
Project 62's music serves as an ideal vehicle for posing questions, rhetorical and otherwise, concerning the perils of modern life and the human condition.
The band formed in 2006 and began crafting their sound through intense live shows and countless hours writing.
Their debut recording "Our Own War" born from this process, has been described as "raucous, self aware but a likeable meld of rock influences lined with the earnest ethos of old soul punk rockers"

This year Project 62 has become increasingly well-known at venues (such as the green room) and events throughout South East Queensland.
In March 2010, director Jack Tyrannosaurus Atley produced a film clip for Project 62's song Pulse and since then recieved acclaim locally and nationally.
Some of Project 62' s played-at venues include the Globe Theatre, Jubilee Hotel, Step Inn, Rosies, River Park Place Function Centre, Kitty O'Sheas in Brisbane, Norville, Irish Club, Queens Park, Empire Theatre Church, The Powerhouse The Green Room in Toowoomba, The Queensland Hotel in Goondiwindi, and Dalby Showgrounds.
We have been involved in supporting community events such as Earth Unplugged, Earth Hour and the Cancer Fund Marathon.
